My hair gets frizzy after I blow dry it?

I will wash my hair then put in a blow dry lotion then blow dry it and its soft from the blow dry lotion,but its all frizzy and poofy! So many fly aways and its all thick and poofy! Its grouse! When I don't blow dry it,it frizzes too.What do i do?
