Should Christians affiliate themselves with a particular political party?

I mean when you really look at the situation, both parties are corrupt. Sure dems are pro choice, but Jesus was more of a socialist liberal back in his day. And yes, the reps do support morality, but have you noticed that it takes them forever to make due on their promises? Plus they aren't as concerned with the poor as dems are which is really how Christians should be. I personally am not affiliated with any political party myself. I vote for the issue and go by the "what would Jesus do" motto.
