Will wearing contacts overnight make your contacts thinner?

I have had contacts for almost a year. They are soft contacts & they never hurt unless i a)flip them inside out OR b)wear them longer than 1 1/2 mths. So i woke up this morning & i noticed i could kinda see. As i walked around it started comming back. So this is the 3rd time this has happened, but the last time this happend was 4 mths ago. I probably slept from 7-5 hours.I was wondering if wearing my contacts rarely at like i have if the contacts will thin my contacts? Also, i've already worn them for a mth.
