Caring for a lionhead bunny?

I just got a lionhead bunny that's about 3 months old. I want it to be perfectly comfortable in it's new home and I have a puppy pen set up for it and a small litter box inside with newspaper for it to get use to doing it's business in one area. Should I fill the cage with some aspen shavings? Is there anything else that I could do to make it feel comfortable?
