Iphone Help, Please...?

I have an older iOS on my Iphone, I was trying to update my facebook when my phone froze. I resprung first, and that did no good whatsoever. So then I did a soft reboot.. my phone never came back on from that. It finally came back on, sort of, it told me to connect to iTunes, so I did.. There it told me I had to restore it. I'm OK with restoring it, but I would really like to be able to get my notes off the phone first. Since it won't come on I can't just email them or retype them or anything... I just want to get my memories back, my notes were all of messages between my BF and I. If you can help, I would truly be appreciative of it. Thanks in advance.
